What Dr. Nicely treats

Hands on chiropractic care, and only what is actually on the record.

Chiropractic offices tend to advertise a list of twenty conditions whether or not they are the ones that walk through the door. This page does the opposite. Everything below is something an outside record specifically attributes to Dr. Nicely, not a generic list borrowed from the profession. If what you are dealing with is not here, that does not mean the answer is no, it means ring (419) 484-9070 and ask him.

Spinal Adjustment

Spinal Adjustment

The core of the practice. Hands on adjustment of the spine to restore motion where a joint has stopped moving properly. This is the procedure most specifically on the record for Dr. Nicely and it is what most visits are built around. Twenty six years of doing it is a lot of hands on repetitions.

Lower Back Pain

Lower Back Pain

The most common reason anyone books a chiropractor and one of the listed areas of expertise for this practice. Whether it came on suddenly or has been building for a decade, the first visit is a conversation and an examination before anything else happens.

Neck Pain

Neck Pain

Necks get blamed on pillows and phones and often deserve neither. Neck pain is a listed area of expertise here. Bring the detail, when it started, what makes it worse, whether it travels into an arm, because those answers change what gets done about it.

Hip Pain

Hip Pain

Hip pain is on the record as an area of expertise, and it is one of the complaints most likely to be coming from somewhere other than where it hurts. Worth getting looked at properly rather than working around it for another year.

Scoliosis

Scoliosis

Listed as an area of expertise for this practice, which is not something every small office puts on the record. If scoliosis is part of your history and you want a local chiropractor who has it on file as something he works with, this is worth a phone call.

Something Else Entirely

Something Else Entirely

Headaches, an old car accident, a work injury, something in a shoulder. None of those are on the public record for this practice, so this page will not claim them. That is not a no. Call (419) 484-9070, describe what is going on, and get the answer from the person who would actually be treating you.

How it works

How to become a patient here.

1

Call (419) 484-9070

The phone is the only way in. There is no online booking anywhere, no email published on any listing, and Zocdoc says in writing that this office does not offer online scheduling. So ring, and say what hurts.

2

Ask about the day you want

Worth doing before you drive over. Different sites publish different opening hours for this office and at least one of them says he is shut on days the others say he is open, so confirm the day and time on the phone.

3

Bring your history

What started it, how long it has been going on, anything a doctor has already said about it and any imaging you have. The first visit is an examination and a conversation, and the more detail you bring the better it goes.

4

Check your coverage

Medicare assignment is accepted here, which is on the CMS record. For any other plan, ask on the phone rather than trusting a directory, because the plan lists on those sites disagree with each other and some of them are plainly wrong.

About us

His own booking page tells patients he is closed on Mondays.

Dr. Aaron Nicely graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2000, with honors, and has held active Ohio chiropractic license number 3071 ever since. Twenty six years, one office, and a hundred and two Medicare patients on the public record before you even count everybody else. The two patients who left reviews both gave five stars, one saying he listened without interrupting and that she did not feel foolish for what she came in about, the other saying he walks in with pain and walks out without it. Here is the problem. Every page about this practice is a listing somebody else built and nobody here has ever claimed. The booking page that ranks for his name shows Monday closed and Wednesday closed, while Yellow Pages shows the office open twelve to seven on both of those days, and that booking site states in writing that the practice is not affiliated with it. One listing has his gender wrong. One lists an insurance plan from Texas. One still has him on Monroe Street. His federal provider record was last updated in March 2009. Meanwhile there is a second chiropractor listed at the same building. Patients looking for Dr. Nicely on a Monday afternoon are being told he is shut.

This one deserves an honest explanation rather than a table of times. There is no set of hours for this office anywhere on the internet that the practice itself published. Three different sites publish three different answers. The booking page says Monday and Wednesday closed. Yellow Pages says Monday and Wednesday open, twelve to seven. A third site, working off a record last synced in 2009, says Monday to Friday eight to five. All three agree on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, nine to six, and that is the closest thing to a consensus that exists. Until the office publishes its own hours, please ring (419) 484-9070 before you drive over.

Get in touch

Ring the office and say what hurts.

New patients, old patients and people who are not sure whether a chiropractor is even the right call. The phone gets you a real answer from a doctor who has been doing this for twenty six years. (419) 484-9070, and this form works too.

No fees are published anywhere for this practice, so this page will not invent any. Medicare assignment is accepted. For any other plan, ask on the phone, because the insurance lists on the directory sites disagree with each other.
